I am recruiting Ph.D. students with a strong mathematical background who are interested in developing signal processing, deep learning and control-theoretic algorithms for neural engineering applications. The project will involve theoretical developments of algorithms, experimental design with human electroencephalogram (EEG) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and validation of the algorithms using these data.
